Maude is our first ever black mantle girl born February 2019.  She's proven to be a first-class mum - sometimes... but other times has successfully conceived and delivered litters, then neglected them.  With this in mind, along with a recent false pregnancy, we feel the time has come to retire her.   She enjoys outdoor life, loves to roam and explore a safe garden, laze in the shade of a bush or stretch out inside a tunnel to watch her bunny friends play and has always had an eye for handsome (neutered!) bucks.   Maude has no known health issues and has never been ill.

Maude is litter-trained so could live as a house-bunny or would be just as happy as an outdoor rabbit with a large, safe, enclosed garden to explore and maybe dig a little in, if she can be bothered.  She isn't keen on being picked up or handled so isn't a lap bunny but enjoys being fussed at ground level.  She could be the ideal partner for an older bereaved (neutered) buck or a middle-aged buck seeking romance in his latter years.

Maude - £20

(she will leave with a starter bag of pellets and hay

Handsome boy available

- ready now

We have a handsome young boy available, 10 weeks old, handled from 2 days old, very friendly, fully socialised and enjoys handling.

Our little lad is a very highly sociable chap, the sort of bun who is going to bond very closely with his owner and probably follow them around like a little furry puppy.  With this in mind, we feel he would be better suited to life as a house-bun where he can enjoy a lot of fuss, attention and interaction throughout the day.

Adoption fee: £95

If you are interested in adopting, please email rossrabbits@outlook.com and tell us a little about their potential home and accommodation and which rabbit/s you are interested in.  Please note French Lops have the potential to be large rabbits up to about 6-6.5kg so will require space to stretch out and exercise.

Thank you.

Sorry, no babies available at present

Following a year of no breeding due to the pandemic, we have now resumed and are delighted to offer purebreed French Lop youngsters to loving pet homes.

Adults available

We don't normally offer our retired adults for adoption but following the Covid-enforced 2-year breeding break, we now need to retain more youngsters to safeguard our line.

Agatha - £20

Maude is our first ever black mantle girl born February 2019, proud mother of Margot.  She's proven to be a first-class mum - sometimes... but other times has successfully conceived and delivered litters, then neglected them.  She might be interested in having another litter but we make no promises that she will raise any future kits.  With this in mind, we feel the time has come to retire her.   She enjoys outdoor life, loves to roam and explore a safe garden, laze in the shade of a bush or stretch out inside a tunnel to watch her bunny friends play and has always had an eye for handsome (neutered!) bucks.   Maude has no known health issues, has never been ill and is vaccinated.
